Science CD
In response to suggestions from teachers, the Ontario Ministry of Labour has created a special edition of Live Safe! Work Smart! specifically for science teachers. This science-only CD brings together all of the lessons and resources from the Live Safe! Work Smart! Grade 9-12 CD that directly match the learning expectations in the Ministry of Education's science curriculum.
The CD includes:
- Easy-to-follow Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) lessons
- Sample Material Safety Data Sheets for classroom use
- Handouts, test questions (and answers) and overheads ready to print or project (select “View-Full Screen” in the Acrobat reader)
- “reality checks” with real workplace incidents for class discussion
