Health and Safety Tests
- Evaluation
- Problem Solving
- Vocabulary
Before students go out to work it’s important that they understand their responsibilities in the workplace. This activity would be ideal to test students’ knowledge before they go to a workplace on a field trip or start volunteering. It would also be useful at the end of the school year before students begin summer jobs.
Getting Started
This activity can be administered in different ways. Here are a few suggestions:
- Read the statements on the handout on page 179 to the class and ask if they are true or false.
- Have students take turns reading out a statement and ask the class if the statement is true or false.
